The Basketball Hall of Fame

This page is all about the Basketball Hall of Fame, and who is in it. The Basketball Hall of Fame is actually named the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, named after James Naismith, the founder of basketball. It is located in Springfield, Massachussetts, just feet away from where the first game of basketball was played. The original Hall of Fame opened up in 1968, and then people were elected into the Hall of Fame. The first person elected into the Hall of Fame was James Naismith himself, just for having come up with the idea for Basketball. Some other well known names that are in there are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Kevin McHale, and many more.
